The WP3 engineering team announces that version 3.1 of the SmartenIT prototype has been successfully released. Version 3.1 mainly implements the following changes in the DTM mechanism:

• Support for delay-tolerant traffic management.
• Added BG router configuration using NETCONF protocol.
• Introduced new compensation vector calculation in the case when reference vector is achieved on one or more links.

The activity of WP3 in SmartenIT has been completed and thus no additional major releases within the project are planned. Further possible development and future plans for the prototype will be discussed as exploitation initiatives.

Currently, the pilot implementation is being used in the experiments which are running by WP4.
